Middle Eastern customers of the UK’s department store Marks and Spencer have, from today, a new website to visit selling M&S products with delivery across 5 countries; UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Launching in co-operation with their franchise partner in the area Al-Futtaim the country specific website, available in Arabic and English languages will deliver Marks and Spencer products direct to customer’s in the region’s doors.
6000 products in a range of categories including clothes, home and lifestyle products will be available to buy. The new website will mean an increased range of goods and delivery and click and collect services with local payment options and currencies. A concierge service will be available to people in Dubai.
Marks And Spencer Global
Marks and Spencer global have been growing their international shopping option and this announcement is part of a strategy designed to increase shopping and choice throughout the world. M&S already has standalone websites in China and India and other countries globally.
The website for the new Middle East region is called MarksandSpencerME.com
Stephen Rayfield, MD of Marks & Spencer Al Futtaim, is quoted as saying: “We’re proud our customers in the Gulf have grown to know and love Marks & Spencer. Our new website will give our customers a truly flagship shopping experience with more choice and availability.”

It is not clear if, as we reported earlier, if UK promotions, such as the M&S Archive by Alexa, will be available to Middle Eastern and global customers through the country specific webstores.
M&S is truly embracing international shopping with stores around the world, worldwide shipping and standalone websites for different countries.
