Boohoo.com is a UK online clothing retailer which sells the latest fashions and trends for men and women. Set up by two suppliers to more traditional offline stores, they are able to create own label and brand clothing, shoes and accessories to meet the very latest cutting edge trends and they can sell internationally with their multi country enabled website. They claim to be “The Global Fashion Leader for a Social Generation”.
Boohoo announce a 45% rise in sales for the last quarter of 2015 and a 52% increase in worldwide sales.
After the announcement of the rise in sales, which followed a 40% cut in sales 12 months earlier, their shares which are listed on the London stock exchange rose by over 9% to 39.87p on Tuesday morning.
Earlier this year Boohoo announced the construction of a new warehouse to meet their growing international demand.

Boohoo offer payment in a range of currencies including the Australian Dollar, Euro and US Dollar and Boohoo offer international delivery to over 200 countries, including India, UAE, Israel, Canada and many others. Rest of world shipping destination takes about 8-14 days and will cost £6.99, express shipping is available to some selected countries such as Australia and New Zealand. International returns are free.
Occasionally they offer free worldwide shipping and other international coupon codes for international shoppers. Boohoo are also known for their collaborations with celebrities such as their recent range designed by popstar Charli XCX.
Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane, joint founders and CEOs said off in the announcement of their latest trading update:
“Trading in the four months to 31 December 2015 has been very encouraging across all regions, with overall revenue growth of 45% (49% CER). We have continued to optimise the mix of promotional and marketing spend to drive strong retail growth”
Occasionally Boohoo are compared to other online retailers like ASOS or Misguided. This is not always an accurate comparison as ASOS sell other brands and retailers clothes and Boohoo design and manufacture their own styles and brands.
